I am in a state of flux….I am an artist, an ordained interfaith minister and a breast cancer survivor. I believe
in our ability to survive and thrive. I don’t know yet where this will take me.

    Hi Ruth Anne,

New to your site but pondering many questions. How do our past lives impact our present one? How can we know/tell if we’ve had one or more past lives? More questions to follow.

    Thank you,

    Hi Phyll,

Ruth Anne suggested that I respond to your interest in past lives, as I am a past life therapist.
In regards to your question about how past lives impact our present lifetime, the influence often shows up in unusual symptoms that are physical, emotional or situational in nature. I call these legacies. What makes the symptoms unusual is that they are out of context to our current experiences and/or don’t respond to reasonable solutions. Once we address and heal these legacies, the symptom disappears or is adjusted to the context of its being from the past.

I believe that we all have had past lives, some of which leave a greater impact than others. Some people choose to investigate them and others are content to only focus on the present lifetime.

For more information, please feel free to go to my blog at I’m delighted that your inquisitive mind is probing new areas of growth.

Past lives… it’s an interesting topic. My mind usually takes a literal turn so my first reaction is I don’t believe in them. But I just had a psychic reading and was told that I was a Gypsy and a dancer in several past lives and on some deep level, this rang true…
