Co-authors Ruth Anne Wood and Stash Serafin set the goal to
distribute a million
and one electronic copies of

It 'Cause You've Already Got It! (A
blind figure skater and visionary writer's inspirational guide to moving
through life) to the seeing impaired with
the help of local Lion's Club chapter in less than one calendar.
It makes perfect sense that Stash Serafin a
man who skates with some of the Chalfont,
PA Lion's members and Olympic and world-class figure skates despite being
blind since birth wants to pay it forward. The creators of
You Can't Get It 'Cause You've Already
Got It! (A blind figure skater and
visionary writer's inspirational guide to moving through life)
will donate most of the proceeds of the PDF book sales to the Lions
organization who address so many humanitarian needs in the world including
many services for the seeing impaired. The goal is to raise over a million
dollars by 11/11/07, the anniversary of when the book was release on
Amazon.com

The Lions Club does so much in the
community including support programs that cure
preventable blindness around the world, special recreational camps for

Local Lions
Clubs who love the idea of uplifting
the spirits of sighted and seeing impaired with a
book co-authored by a world-class blind figure
skate have contacted the the authors directly to start raising money for
their community projects on their website. The first chapter to embrace this
unique project was the Lion's club of Chalfont, PA. One
of the long time members, Art D'Angelo invited
Ruth Anne Wood as his guest at one of their
meetings. That night the District Governor, James
A. Harrington gave a moving talk during his annual
visit. "I never realized how much the Lions did to support the needs and
daily activities of the seeing impaired!" Ms. Wood said. She was delighted
to
learn how many members personally knew Stash.
Why is Ruth and Stash doing this? Stash Serafin,
had so much fun scanning his newly published book
in his audible scanner that both he and his co-author Ruth Anne Wood choose
to make it easier for the seeing impaired to enjoy this message of hope and
inspiration electronically. Also they wanted to give back to the Lions, an
organization instrumental in doings so much good for the seeing impaired.
