DIRECTOR/PRODUCER: Ruth Anne Wood is a producer, playwright, author, and international radio guest who partners with national charities, world-class athletes, film makers, TV producers and entrepreneurs to focus on what’s working in our world. This film project is no exception. It was inspired by President Obama’s Nobel Peace Award Nomination and the critics that claimed Obama didn’t deserve the award. (Ruth shares what stops us from receiving our reward and how to move forward.) Join Ruth and crew as we go on a virtual journey to Oslo, Norway as we take turns giving a one minute presentation to the Nobel Peace Community and people around the world on the blessings and peace tools that are so powerful in our own lives. Inspired by Spiritual Cinema Ruth invites you to do this exercise of giving your acceptance speech for peace and prosperiety in your own life daily. http://www.scriptingforsuccess.com
PRODUCER: Rev. Edie Weinstein is a Renaissance Woman and Bliss Mistress who invites people to live rich, full, juicy lives. She is a colorfully creative author and dynamic speaker, as well as interfaith minister and social worker. Her from the heart intention is to support people in BE-ing the love that they are, knowing that when people are grounded in that sense, they are better able to offer their gifts to the world. She has witnessed first hand that we are all intricately connected; that in her own life, the ’six degrees of separation’ concept has whittled down to ‘zero degrees of separation’. As a certified Cuddle Party faciliator, she is also profoundly aware of the impact of safe, nurturing touch. www.liveinjoy.org.
FILM MAKER: Bill Jersey has worked in film over forty years earning him numerous kudos, Emmy and Academy nominations and awards for his exploration of topics that included civil rights, religious fundamentalism, U.S. – Soviet Relations, Legacy of Earl Warren, The American Mob, American Criminal Justice System and established him as one of the most respected documentary film makers in America today. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Wheaton College in Illinois, Bill spent several, mostly unpaid, years learning to be an art director for a fledgling religious film company. Excited by the possibility of making movies, he sought an advanced degree in film from USC, graduating with honors. Following graduation, Bill became the Art Director on the movie classic, The Blob. But instincts, interests and paying jobs wooed him to non-fiction and he soon established his reputation as one of the pioneers of cinema-verité and a major independent producer of works for television. In 1988, Bill returned to his lifelong love, painting. His inspiration was the landscape of Vermont, most notably the barns dotting the hillsides. Massive, aged and deteriorating, they inspired his continuing quest to document–to capture the confluence of light, form and meaning–this time with brush and oil paint on canvas. Since then, the landscapes of Vermont, Italy, Nova Scotia and California have been his continuing source of inspiration. www.questprod.com
Annabella Wood has been singing all her life, and playing the guitar since she was a little girl. Her musical background includes some classical but mostly country and folk music. Her songs are the musings of a wild imagination mixed with too much time behind the wheel. “Driving a truck cross country is like enjoying an 18 hour meditation every day.” With that kind of meditative time on her hands, the songs just poured through Annabella. She sings on life, love, loss and joy. Her songs are thought provoking and at the same time leave you feeling better after you listen for a while. She is finishing up her degree in “the interface between mind and matter” — whatever that is! Another way to describe it is “where spirituality and quantum physics meet.” She currently lives in Pennsylvania and runs her own handy-woman business in between songs. www.annabellawood.com

PRODUCER: Nancy Dreyfus, Psy.D. Whether you are a lawyer or a therapist…a stay-at-home mom or a hippy… Nancy teaches we all need some kind of meaningful structure in which to organize our life. People often enter therapy when they can no longer ignore that an important external structure on which they have depended—a crucial relationship or work situation, a spiritual teaching or a therapeutic paradigm–is feeling unfulfilling, rocky or even bankrupt. Painful and disorienting as this can be, such disillusionment is often a doorway to a whole new way of being in the world. Dreyfus sees herself as a kind of “transpersonal scout,” orienting people to what it means to live a life based on internal structure—to access and profoundly trust one’s own insides in a way that creates an outer life more and more reflecting who you really are. Her own journey began many years ago when, through what one might call either luck or grace, she had an unexpected and, as often is the case, brief experience of feeling whole, independent of any achievement or anyone’s particular affection. Thus began what has been called “the hard work miracle” of overhauling a life based on looking good to one about Becoming Real. Now in her late 50s, my life has been an exploration into the question, “What is Real?”…and creating the space for others to feel real to themselves.

Rev. Rochelle Shakti: When she could no longer accept the emptiness of her own life, Rochelle began her spiritual pilgrimage. Leaving behind her comfortable, mainstream lifestyle, Rochelle studied many traditions. She studied Kabbalah fervently under the guidance of Reb Zalman Schachter, a Hasidic Master, and was the Coordinator of his Wisdom School as well as his personal secretary. Her understanding of Native American teachings was enhanced by her studies with RainbowHawk Linton and she has explored mystical teachings with Shakmah Winddrum of S.E.E.D. Sanctuary, as well as A Course in Miracles. Rochelle was ordained at the New Seminary in New York as an Interfaith Minister where she studied many cultures and traditions. Her parents were of different religions, so that as a young child she came to understand that a family can live in harmony, not in spite of, but because of the rich variation in beliefs. She is a student of SiBok, Robert Kassof; the founder of Golden Breath American Tai Chi and has been privileged to become an instructor under SiBok’s tutelage. Rochelle is also a Reiki practitioner. She believes that the role of “teacher and student” is intertwined and continues her studies on a regular basis. The enlightenment and wisdom she has gained through her pilgrimages to India and Israel, her experiences as a wife and mother and her spiritual quest have been skillfully integrated into her teachings, healings, ceremonies and spiritual coaching. http://apathoflove.com

PRODUCER: Trisha Gallagher, a successful business woman and two time Oprah guest, is the author of “No More Secrets”, a family speaks about depression, anxiety and attempted suicide. In April 1999, unable to cope with overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, loneliness and inadequacy stemming in part from a pending downsizing and a genetic predisposition to depression, Trisha’s husband John did the unthinkable: He jumped head-first from the third story window of a hospital after corperate layoffs. By his own admission, he shouldn’t have survived the fall. Respecting his wishes to keep the situation private, Trisha and the four kids intentionally wove a web of stories designed to hide the truth. Trish spoke to God in her usual familiar way, asking Him to send an angel to help her. “No…” she amended her request, “better send a team of angels, Lord; I don’t think one will do….” The words started her thinking. How many people were overwhelmed like her, and might welcome an actual, tangible sign of support? Trish, began to research her idea, and soon created a gold lapel angel pin featuring three angels holding hands. She mounted the pin on a card which bore a “Team of Angels” poem (which she wrote), and began to spread the word. Trisha contacted some chaplains and sent 5000 of the pins overseas to be distributed to our U.S. troops in the Middle East. She donated 2500 more to hospitals and women’s groups worldwide as well as in her Pennsylvania community. “I dropped them off at toll booths, mailboxes, waiting rooms and phone booths,” Trisha says. “I even put a basket of them on my front porch, and encouraged neighbors to take what they needed.” Her instructions to every recipient were the same: “Keep this pin until you meet someone who needs it more than you do, and then pass it along. Trisha’s “Team of Angels” pins are teaming up with “Live Your Peace” to add to the 1000’s of testimonies from appreciative recipients of the Team of Angels over the years! http://www.teamofangels.com/MAIN.htm
